Making Dental Care Easier to Plan
Thinking about dental treatment can bring up a lot of questions, especially when it comes to cost. Whether you are coming in for preventive care, planning restorative treatment, or simply trying to understand your options, the financial side of dentistry should not feel confusing or stressful.
At Spoonwood Dental, we believe care should feel personal, honest, and easy to understand. As an independent, dentist-owned practice, our team takes time to get to know each patient and help them make decisions that feel right for their health, family, and budget.
Understanding Your Insurance Benefits
Dental insurance can be helpful, especially for routine visits and portions of restorative care. However, every plan is different, and benefits can sometimes be difficult to understand on your own.
As a courtesy, Spoonwood Dental is happy to submit claims to your dental insurance company when you provide your current insurance information. Our team can also help review your coverage, explain how your benefits may apply, and answer questions before treatment begins.
Our goal is to keep the process clear, so you know what to expect.
No Insurance? You Still Have Options
If you do not have dental insurance, our Patient Membership Program may be a helpful option. The plan is designed to make preventive care more predictable with one simple annual fee.
Membership includes routine preventive care such as cleanings, wellness exams, X-rays, oral cancer screening, fluoride treatments, and savings on many additional services.
It is not dental insurance, but it can be a straightforward option for patients and families who want trusted Spoonwood care without deductibles, waiting periods, claims, or confusing annual maximums.
Payment and Financing Options
For your convenience, Spoonwood Dental accepts cash, checks, major credit cards, money orders, Cherry, and CareCredit.
For treatment that is not fully covered by insurance or a membership plan, Cherry or CareCredit may help make care more manageable by allowing costs to be spread out over time.
Some patients use insurance. Some choose the membership program. Others use financing or pay out of pocket monthly. There is no one-size-fits-all answer, and that is okay.
We’ll Walk You Through It
Planning for dental care should feel calm, clear, and supportive. If you have questions about insurance, payment options, financing, or our Patient Membership Program, our team is always happy to talk it through.
We are here to help you understand your options, make informed choices, and feel comfortable moving forward at a pace that works for you.
That is the Spoonwood way: thoughtful care, honest conversations, and support you can trust.
